Most large animals on this planet have the potential to be dangerous and even deadly. Most large animals come from competitive ecosystems and these competitive ecosystems are home to apex predators. This means that animals that we view as peaceful are very capable of defending themselves against predators and they are very capable of defending themselves against humans.
