When we think of ancient structures in the UK, images of the fabled Stonehenge spring to mind. While the ring-shaped arrangement of megaliths weighing several tons each is undoubtedly one of the most famous buildings of the past, we quickly forget that there are countless other stories from days long past that astonish us in the British Isles.
