Sure, not every excavation is going to play out like a scene from Indiana Jones, but you’re still liable to find some pretty weird things in the ground occasionally if you look hard enough. And that’s a lesson this group working in Peru learned the hard way. As they got to work on the site of Cajamarquilla, these guys found something deeply disturbing staring up at them.
